RALLY MEMORIES 2004

20th September - 2nd October. Torquay.
 'The Golden Days
of
Motor Coaching Holidays'

Livermead House Hotel, Sea Front, Torquay, South Devon.

This is the third year running that the museum will be on display at this wonderful hotel which played host to the pioneering Yelloway
char-a-banc holiday to Torquay in August 1911. The hotel was used regularly by Yelloway throughout the 'Golden Days of Motor Coaching'.

Above is a fine evening shot taken outside the Livermead House Hotel during the 1930s
of two AEC 'Ranger' coaches of the Torquay company of Grey Cars Ltd.
Grey Cars regularly transported Yelloway passengers from the
Livermead House Hotel to local beauty spots and places of interest.

Below is the Livermead House Hotel today in all it's splendour.
