Today's Bus/Coach Rally was a tribute to the original organiser Alf Tunstall who sadly died last year. Alf was a real character with many facets.

He spent time in the RAF, Police Force, and had many other life experiences under his belt. Alf brought a lot of humour to the railway and everyone who met him will have a story to tell, as did Alf.

Alf was interested in anything 'vintage' hence the reason for setting up the bus and coach rally and it is with honour that we have the rally after him.
